Now we are in menopause. As our estrogen is running lower and lower, the differences in our skin can show up day to day, some days drier than others. The good thing is blemishes are gone for the most part, if not totally. The best thing to use on the skin at this stage is anything super hydrating like hyaluronic acid, it helps the skin attract and retain water, yet doesn’t feel greasy or heavy, it actually feels a bit watery. Also, find creams with ceramides, which strengthen the skin barrier to minimize irritation and inflammation.
